Welcome to Passport Dachshunds!
About us
Since the dawn of time, no just kidding! Actually for the last 8 years or so, I have been saying I will one day get a Dachshund. Then the opportunity graced my way. We were handling for a local breeder who was trying to get a start. After spending time looking at her stock and viewing her pedigrees we started to research. Web surfing, lots of reading, and finding the DCA website made us realize this was the breed for us. So we started looking. Well, we found exactly what we wanted in Prada. She was right in front of us and the opportunity arose to add her to Passport. She is my (Arvind) constant companion and SPOILED ROTTEN pet. with her Passport Dachshunds began. Shortly after we added Lucy from the same kennel. During the showing and learning process we were contacted by George and Sherry Howes of Hiswill Dachshunds. They were in need of a livestock guardian and we had the Anatolian they needed (www.passport-anatolians.com). Destiny went to live with George and Sherry to protect their herd and we in turn brought home Ch. Hiswill's Mr. Bosley and his 8 week old son Otis (Hiswill Passport Lil' Kikuyama). Now we started in ernst.
Our goal is to breed healthy, physically and mentally sound Dachshunds that excel in every avenue of their lives. Whether it be companion, field, earth dog or conformation Passport Dachshunds will fit the bill. We are constantly doing research and learning about what makes a quality Dachshund tick. It is our goal to produce a family line that is solid in all aspects and true to the standard and history of this breed.
Passport is home to Standard Smooths in all allowable colors. We will keep this site updated with wins, photos, litters, and information concerning our dogs and the Dachshund breed. Hope you enjoy our dogs as much as we do.

Contacting a reputable breeder for your future puppy will give you the best chance of having a healthy / happy / well socialized companion that will be with you for years to come! Please speak to your breeder and make sure you are comfortable before deciding to purchase. Most reputable breeders do not have puppies readily available, so be patient to get the companion you are looking forward to sharing your life with for many years to come!!!
